Om Prakash Kohli sworn in as Gujarat Governor

Om Prakash Kohli on Wednesday took oath of office as Governor of Gujarat.

Kohli succeeds Kamla Beniwal who has been transferred to Mizoram recently.

Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Bhaskar Bhattacharya administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new Governor here.

Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, Assembly Speaker Vajubhai Vala alongwith other ministers and officials were present on the occasion.

President Pranab Mukherjee had on Monday appointed new governors for Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Gujarat and Nagaland.
