Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh on Tuesday said that his party's lead in the Delhi Assembly polls shows that the people have given a befitting reply to those indulging in indecent politics and negative propaganda.
"The people of Delhi have given a befitting reply to indecent politics and communalism with their votes; they have given a befitting reply also to those who indulged in negative propaganda," he said.
The AAP leader lauded the spirit of his party chief Arvind Kejriwal, who has worked with utmost dedication to ensure his party's victory for the second time in Delhi.
"The people of Delhi have proved that in democracy, who serve the public will will vote in favour of them," said Singh.
"This is the victory of the people. I salute them," he added.

As per the latest reports, the AAP is inching closer to government formation in Delhi with the party leading in 55 seats. The BJP is ahead in 11 seats while the Congress is leading in only one seat.
The Election Commission has made elaborate arrangements for the counting of votes. Counting is taking place at 14 centres in nine districts of the national capital.
A three-tier security has been put in place at all the 14 counting centres.
A voter turnout of 67.08 percent was recorded in the polling for the 70-member Delhi Assembly. A total of 673 candidates are in the fray this time.
