PK Thungon handed four and half years in jail

A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on Monday awarded four and a half years' jail term and a fine of Rs. 10,000 to former union minister PK Thungon in connection with a corruption case.
Last week, special CBI judge Ajay Kumar Jain had convicted the former union minister in this case.
Thungan, along with three other accused, was involved in misappropriation of Central funds.
