PM Modi greets Iceland on their National Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended his greetings to the people of Iceland on their National Day.

Prime Minister Modi took to Twitter to share his wishes.

"My greetings and best wishes to the people of Iceland on the occasion of Iceland's National Day," he tweeted.

On the occasion, President Pranab Mukherjee had also expressed confidence that both nations will continue multifaceted cooperation in the years to come.

Iceland observes June 17 as its annual day to celebrate its independence from Danish rule.
