PM Modi praises Nehwal, says 'we are very proud of you'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lauded ace shuttler Saina Nehwal for reaching the finals of All England Badminton Championship.

"Well played @NSaina! We are very proud of you. You created history by reaching the finals. Keep up the spirit," he tweeted.

Nehwal, however, lost to World No. 6 Carolina Marin 21-16, 14-21,7-21 in the finals.
