Prime Minister Modi wishes Pakistan on its 68th Independence Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today wished neighbouring Pakistan on its 68th Independence Day.
In a tweet, Prime MInister Modi said, "On the occasion of their Independence Day, I convey my greetings to the people of Pakistan."
The greetings come just two days after he had accused Pakistan of carrying out a "proxy war" in Kashmir.
In a speech at a military base in Leh, Modi had said, "The neighbouring country has lost the strength to fight a conventional war, but continues to engage in the proxy war of terrorism.
