A source told People Magazine that the 29-year-old royal found the blonde beauty to be a bit 'needy' and confessed to his friends that it wasn't working out well.
Meanwhile, another source close to the couple revealed that the break-up was mutual and though it was sad, the decision was amicable.
24-year-old Bonas wanted to focus on her career and the two hope that they won't be bothered because of the news now, the insider added.
