A radio station came under fire and was forced to apologize to Helen Flanagan after angry fans accused them of online 'trolling', it has been revealed.
The actress, who is in an on-off relationship with footie ace Scott Sinclair, was targeted by Manchester's Key 103 when they started a Facebook poll, asking if users "loved" or "loathed" her, the Independent reported.
The station also made similar comments during its breakfast show.
But the listeners hit back and accused the station of promoting cyber bullying against a fellow Manchester native.
One listener voiced her anger by asking the station to take down the post which would just prompt people to bully the former 'Corrie' star.
Later, the station removed the poll and apologised, saying that their poll was "inappropriate".
