Rahul Gandhi congratulates Sania, Martina on Wimbledon win

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday congratulated tennis ace Sania Mirza and her partner Martina Hingis for winning the Wimbledon women's doubles title.

"Congratulations @MirzaSania and @mhingis on the big win @Wimbledon! A very special moment for Indian tennis-thank you @MirzaSania: Rahul Gandhi," his office tweeted.

Mirza and Hingis delivered a 5-7 7-6(4) 7-5 blow to their Russian comeptitors Elena Vesnina and Ekaterina Makarova to clinch the prestigious title.

This is Sania's latest heist after winning three mixed doubles Grand Slam trophies.
