Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday paid tribute to the soldiers on the 50th anniversary of 1965 India-Pakistan war, saluting their sacrifice and courage in the service of the nation.
"As we commemorate the 50th anniversary of 1965 Indo-Pak war, I salute the sacrifice and courage of our soldiers in the service of the nation," Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet.
The India-Pakistan War of 1965 was a culmination of skirmishes that took place between April 1965 and September 1965 between Pakistan and India.
