Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder Shane Watson has been reprimanded by the match referee for using obscene language and gesture during his side's six-wicket win against Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash here at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium last evening.
The Australian swashbuckling batsman has admitted the level 1 offence (Article 2.1.4 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials) and accepted the sanction.
With the win, the RCB have secured a spot in the play-offs and since they are second in the points table they will now have two shots for reaching the IPL final.
