Renee Zellweger was recently spotted at the 2014 Elle Women in Hollywood Awards where she looked so unrecognizable that it started Internet frenzy.
The 45-year-old actress, who has long been rumored to have gone under the knife in the past, looked so different that leading plastic surgeons believe she might have had some work done, Fox News reported.
Fountain Medical Group founder and partner, Dr. Todd Schlifstein, said that it appeared as if the star had an eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty, botox, lip fillers and cheek fillers.
The shape of her eye and eyelid also looked different, and she must have had the extra skin removed and tightened around the area, he added.
Meanwhile, another facial plastic surgeon, Dr. John Scheibelhoffer, also noted the change in Zellweger's eye shape and said that it had transformed from almond to oval.
Neither of the doctors treat Zellweger.
Fans also took to Twitter to share their confusion over the 'Bridget Jones Diary' star's new look where while some said her appearance was sexist, some thought it was just ageing.
