Renowned cinematographer Roger Deakins to shoot 'The Blade Runner' sequel

Academy Award-nominated cinematographer Roger Deakins will be shooting the sequel to 'The Blade Runner.'

Deakins, 65, who's best works include 'Skyfall,' 'The Shawshank Redemption,' and 'Dead Man Walking' among others, will team up with director Denis Villeneuve for the third time with this project, reported The Verge.

The movie is anticipated to begin filming in summer 2016.
