Rodgers admits some people want him to be sacked

ANI London

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that there is lot of 'hysteria' in his club after their poor Premier League start , admitting that there are some people who don't want to see him as a manager.

Rodgers, whose position came under scrutiny after his side's poor performances, said that there is something going on from his behind, but added that he doesn't care about these talks and will continue to work with the players, the Mirror reported.

Speaking about the pressure on Liverpool, the 42-year-old further said that he is not worried at all as his players are working hard and playing brilliantly.

Earlier, Liverpool claimed a 3-2 win over Aston Villa at Anfield on Saturday, after failing to achieve victory in their last four matches.

Reacting on his side's victory, Rodger admitted that he is really happy, saying that he was sure that his players would get their reward one day and their win showed that they achieved their reward.

Liverpool will next lock horns with Everton on October 4.
