Filming for 'Deadpool 2', the highly anticipated sequel to the 2016 Marvel anti-hero hit, has finally begun!
Ryan Reynolds posted an image on Instagram to commemorate the end of filming on day one.
Alongside the picture he wrote: "The sun sets on day 1. Feels good to be back. This dog can hunt."
The film is being directed by David Leitch from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, with Ryan Reynolds starring in the title role alongside Morena Baccarin, T. J. Miller, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapicic, Zazie Beetz, Josh Brolin, and Jack Kesy.
'Deadpool 2' has a June 1, 2018, release date.
