Seven people drown in Ganga in UP

At least seven people have drowned while taking a bath at the Kachla Ghat of the River Ganga in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

The authorities have confirmed recovering seven bodies. A search is on for two more bodies, including that of a minor.

According to reports, the victims had come to take a dip in the river on the occasion of Amavasya.
