Sonowal injured as dais collapses in Dibrugarh

Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal received minor injuries as the dais collapsed at a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha convention here on Monday.

Right after the convention was over, the dais was swarmed by the BJP workers who wanted to meet Sonowal. The stage caved in due to over load following which Sonowal and BJP state president Siddhartha Bhattacharya were injured.

According to reports, Sonowal got minor injuries on his back and has been advised to take rest.
