Tala Marandi appointed as BJP's Jharkhand chief

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday appointed Tala Marandi as its Jharkhand unit president.
The 52-year-old leader, who is also an MLA from the state, replaces Ravindra Kumar Ray, who is a Member of Parliament to the Lok Sabha from Kodarma, Jharkhand.
Marandi is a two-time MLA from Borio constituency in the state.
