Twitter launches @TwitterFood, a dedicated account for food-related tweets

Twitter has launched @TwitterFood for food-related tweets.

According to the TechCrunch, @TwitterFood is a dedicated account for food-related tweets shared on the Twitter about meals, ingredients, favorites, recipes and dining experiences and offers up a curated selection of hand-picked tweets from celebrity chefs and food personalities, as well as choice posts from the general public.

The Twitter Food account is an effort made by Twitter to expand its appeal in order to find a new and more general audience.

Twitter is already operating curated feeds like Twitter Music and Twitter Sports.
