ULFA militants killed in Assam's Goalpara District
Two United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) (independent) militants were killed recently in an encounter with police in Assam's Goalpara District.
Security personnel had launched an operation to rescue an abducted boy from the militants, when the cadres retaliated.
A police official was injured in the cross-firing.
