UP ATS hands over Lucknow terror operation probe to NIA

Uttar Pradesh's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Tuesday handed over Lucknow terror operation probe to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Earlier on March 8, three terrorists holed up inside a house in the outskirts of Lucknow at Thakurganj locality under Kakori police station.

Saifullah was killed by commandos in a house on the outskirts of Lucknow following a 12-hour long anti-terror operation.

The police recovered eight pistols, three passports, more than 600 cartridges, bomb-making instruments, timers, wires, compass etc.
