Valls says French jets to join battle to take on IS in Iraq

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls has reportedly said that French jets are due to arrive in Jordan to join the fight to take on the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq.

Valls said during a visit to the Niger capital Niamey on Sunday that "the show of strength" continues with the arrival of Mirage planes in the coming days, reported News 24.

Earlier he had said that the jets were already in Jordan, the report pointed out.
