Vice News programming chief calls charges against journalists 'baseless'

Kevin Sutcliffe, Vice News' head of news programming in Europe, has called the charges against two British journalists working with Vice News "baseless and alarmingly false".
According to The New York Times, Jake Hanrahan, a correspondent, and Philip Pendlebury, a cameraman along with their Turkey-based assistant, were arrested on charges of aiding an unidentified terrorist group.
The trio were detained while reporting from Diyarbakir in a district where
Kurdish youths often clash with security officials.
