The 2015 drama film 'Piku' indeed proved to be a milestone in Deepika Padukone's "already shining" career and something she will really be proud of for the rest of her life.

After winning the Best Actress award in the Female Lead for 'Piku' at IIFA 2016, the 30-year-old actress felt glad that she was part of the film and said, "I have travelled all over the world and have identified women everywhere and of all age group with 'Piku."

Adding on to this, the actress said when she first heard the film narration, she instantly got the feeling that this was the film she wanted to do, as it reflects the voice of so many women.

Backing up Deepika's thought, heartthrob Ranveer Singh added, "There is no big film or small film. You can't 'typify' films on the basis of what kind of budget they are being made or how much money it's making. It's all about stories."

The 17th edition of the IIFA awards gala, which takes the power of Bollywood to international shores every year, is celebrating 60 years of India's diplomatic relations with Spain here with close to 150 film celebrities and over 20,000 fans in attendance.

The four-day gala, which began on June 23 and concluded today, in Madrid, Spain, witnessed the stunning performances by Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Sooraj Pancholi, Daidy Shah, Salman Khan and others.
