YSR Congress MP joins Telugu Desam Party

YSR Congress MP S P Y Reddy on Sunday joined the rival Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which is set to form the government in Andhra Pradesh.

Reddy, a three time MP from Nandyal, joined the TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu here.

Reddy had quit the Congress and joined the YSRCP late last year after the Congress-led UPA government decided to carve out a Telangana state.

He was re-elected to Lok Sabha from Nandyal constituency in Kurnool district.
