Amara Raja Batteries standalone net profit declines 9.05% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 17.43% to Rs 1344.46 crore

Net profit of Amara Raja Batteries declined 9.05% to Rs 99.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 109.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 17.43% to Rs 1344.46 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1144.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 2.67% to Rs 478.49 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 491.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 15.15% to Rs 5317.15 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4617.76 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
