Australia ASX200 jumps 1.2%

Australian share market finished session higher on Thursday, 15 February 2018, as risk appetite buying boosted by rally on Wall Street overnight and data showing the country's streak of employment gains reached the longest on record in January. Most of ASX sectors inclined, with shares in top materials and resources being notable gainers due to firm commodity prices. The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index rose 1.2% to 5,909 points.
