Australian share market finished higher on first trading session of the week, Monday, 14 July 2014, on the back of stronger base metal prices and receding worries about the health of Portugal's banks. Most of the ASX sectors climbed up, with shares in material, consumer discretionary, consumer staple, healthcare, financial and realty companies being the biggest gainers. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 Index lifted 0.45% on Monday to 5511.4 points, while the broader All Ordinaries Index added 0.4% to 5495.8.
