Bayer CropScience rose 3.30% to Rs 3,579.70 at 9:22 IST on BSE after net profit rose 41.02% to Rs 55 crore on 7.59% rise in total income to Rs 729.30 crore in Q3 December 2014 over Q3 December 2013.
The result was announced after trading hours yesterday, 2 February 2015.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 104.84 points, or 0.36%, to 29,227.11.
On BSE, so far 4,199 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 6,255 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 3,615 and a low of Rs 3,529.95 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 3,819.90 on 14 January 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 1,378 on 21 March 2014.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 30 January 2015, rising 14.22% compared with 6.49% rise in the Sensex. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 56.89% as against Sensex's 6.72% rise.
The large-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 36.62 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
