Board of ACC defers merger with Ambuja Cement

At meeting held on 26 February 2018

The Board of ACC has decided that there are at present certain constraints in implementing a merger between the company and Ambuja Cements. The company is therefore not proceeding with the merger at this juncture, though this remains the ultimate objective.

The Board has approved an arrangement with Ambuja Cement for mutual purchase and sale of materials and services.
