Board of Amara Raja Batteries approves investment of Rs 500 crore for new plant

At meeting held on 11 November 2014

Amara Raja Batteries announced that the board of directors at their meeting held on 11 November 2014, approved an investment of about Rs. 500 crore for setting up tubular batteries manufacturing plant (for Home UPS application) with a capacity of 1.44 million units per annum.
