Board of Ambuja Cements approves change in directorate

At meeting held on 27 July 2015

Ambuja Cements announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 27 July 2015, inter alia, have approved the following:

1. Change in Directorate

- Cessation

Bernard Fontana, Director, has stepped down from the Board of Directors of the Company with effect from 17 July 2015 consequent upon his stepping down as CEO of Holcim, Switzerland.

The Board of Directors of the Company have placed its warm appreciation for the valuable services rendered by Fontana during his tenure as Director of the Company.

2. Appointment

Eric Olsen, CEO of LafargeHolcim (formerly known as Holcim) has been appointed as an additional director (as their representative Director) on the Board of Directors of the Company.

 

3. Amalgamation of Dirk India, wholly owned subsidiary with Ambuja Cements

Approved the Amalgamation of Dirk India, a 100% subsidiary of the Company with the Company, subject to necessary approvals.
