The Board of Directors of Berger Paints India at its meeting held on 14 April 2017 inter alia, approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of BJN Paints India ('the Transferor Company'), a wholly owned subsidiary of Beepee Coatings (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company) with the Company with effect from 1 April 2017 ('Appointed Date'), pursuant to Sections 230 and 232 of the Companies Act, 2013.
