CEO Jonathan Hunt to join Syngene International board as whole-time director on May 1

He replaces Peter Bains, who has stepped down from company's board

Syngene International announced that the Board of Directors of the company had at a meeting held on 27 April 2017 appointed Jonathan Hunt, Chief Executive Officer, as a whole-time director on the company's board for a period of five years starting May 1, 2017, subject to shareholders' approval at the ensuing Annual General Meeting to be held on 28 July 2017.

Peter Bains, Non-Executive Director and former CEO of the Company has stepped down from the Board of Syngene International with effect from the conclusion of this board meeting.
