China shares drop for first time in six sessions

Mainland China share market declined for the first time in six consecutive sessions on Tuesday, 27 May 2014, as profit taking emerged following recent rally, with shares of industrial and material companies leading retreat. The benchmark Shanghai Composite ended 6.91 points higher at 2034.57, on turnover of 55.92 billion yuan.
