The Mainland China equity market finished session higher on Thursday, 09 November 2017, on the back of stronger than expected China's strong inflation data that easing market concerns of a slowdown. Sentiment was also aided by Chinese media reporting that stock fund sales have begun to pick up in recent months in China, potentially channeling fresh money into the market. The blue-chip CSI300 index rose 0.7%, to 4,075.90 points, while the Shanghai Composite Index closed up 0.4% to 3,427.79 points and the Shenzhen Composite advanced 0.74% to close at 2,028.69.
