Consumer Durables stocks edge higher

Consumer Durables stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index increasing 124.48 points or 0.5% at 25181.38 at 09:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Blue Star Ltd (up 1.31%), Titan Company Ltd (up 1.05%), Voltas Ltd (up 0.31%), and Metropolis Healthcare Ltd (up 0.09%), were the top gainers.

On the other hand, V I P Industries Ltd (down 0.65%), Rajesh Exports Ltd (down 0.6%), and Bajaj Electricals Ltd (down 0.37%) turned lower.

At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 26.27 or 0.07% at 40089.79.

The Nifty 50 index was down 36.6 points or 0.31% at 11803.85.

 

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 31.71 points or 0.24% at 13312.98.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 13.75 points or 0.3% at 4610.41.

On BSE,606 shares were trading in green, 869 were trading in red and 68 were unchanged.
