Elecon Engineering Company standalone net profit declines 63.96% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 35.59% to Rs 273.47 crore

Net profit of Elecon Engineering Company declined 63.96% to Rs 22.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 62.23 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 35.59% to Rs 273.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 201.69 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 49.93% to Rs 36.26 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 72.42 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 4.71% to Rs 796.36 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 835.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
