Finanicals shares gain
Finanicals stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Finance index rising 23.34 points or 0.4% at 5840.81 at 09:45 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Finance index, Capital Trust Ltd (up 4.99%), Aditya Birla Money Ltd (up 4.6%),Yes Bank Ltd (up 3.23%),HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd (up 2.86%),Repco Home Finance Ltd (up 2.51%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Alankit Ltd (up 2.14%), Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd (up 1.86%), Centrum Capital Ltd (up 1.86%), Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd (up 1.81%), and PNB Gilts Ltd (up 1.8%).
On the other hand, PTC India Financial Services Ltd (down 6.77%), SREI Infrastructure Finance Ltd (down 5.63%), and Indiabulls Ventures Ltd (down 4.6%) moved lower.
At 09:45 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 65.91 or 0.18% at 36159.38.
The Nifty 50 index was up 11.9 points or 0.11% at 10716.7.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 8.02 points or 0.19% at 4212.42.
On BSE,651 shares were trading in green, 597 were trading in red and 50 were unchanged.
