Net inflow of Rs 262.82 crore on 6 November 2015
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 262.82 crore on Friday, 6 November 2015, compared with net outflow of Rs 991.71 crore on 5 November 2015.
The net inflow of Rs 262.82 crore from the secondary equity markets on 6 November 2015 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3156.54 crore and gross sales of Rs 2893.72 crore. On that day, the Sensex lost 38.96 points or 0.15% to settle at 26,265.24.
FPIs have sold shares worth a net Rs 2603.91 crore into the secondary equity markets this month so far (till 6 November 2015). They have purchased stocks worth a net Rs 6358.77 crore from the secondary equity markets last month.
FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 4036.19 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2015 so far (till 6 November 2015). They bought shares worth a net Rs 84440.80 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2014.
