Great Eastern Shipping Company jumped 5.49% to Rs 411 at 13:44 IST. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 46,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7,516 shares in the past two weeks.
Srei Infrastructure Finance surged 5.15% at Rs 116.35. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 4.87 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.13 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Tata Sponge Iron advanced 5.08% to Rs 897.55. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 2.12 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 31,000 shares in the past two weeks.
JSW Energy gained 4.16% at Rs 70.05. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 17.53 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 15.95 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
L&T rose 4.15% to Rs 1,173.20. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 2.61 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.24 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
