Generic Engineering rises after winning orders

Generic Engineering Construction and Projects rose 2.58% to Rs 75.45 after the company said it bagged orders worth Rs 298.88 crore.

The EPC firm reported that that it has won orders worth Rs 2.05 crore for the construction of industrial buildings and Rs 296.83 crore for the construction of residential buildings. The announcement was made during trading hours today, 11 September 2019.

Shares of Generic Engineering Construction and Projects fell 4.78% in the past four trading sessions to settle at Rs 73.55 yesterday, 9 September 2019, from its close of Rs 77.25 on 3 September 2019.

On BSE, 7,695 shares were traded in Generic Engineering Construction and Projects counter, compared to a 2-week average of 14,000 shares. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 81 and an intraday low of Rs 72.

 

It hit a 52-week high of Rs 194.40 on 24 September 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 64.60 on 2 August 2019.

Generic Engineering Construction and Projects' net profit rose 17.8% to Rs 4.63 crore on a 20.9% surge in net sales to Rs 64.71 crore in Q1 June 2019 compared with Q1 June 2018.

Generic Engineering Construction and Projects is engaged in construction business.
