GMDC leads gainers in 'A' group

Gujarat government-owned miner Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) spurted 6.17% to Rs 133.30. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.

Hotel chain operator Indian Hotels Company jumped 4.87% to Rs 51.70. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.

FMCG company Godrej Consumer Products galloped 4.73% to Rs 797.50. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Real estate developer Prestige Estates Projects climbed 4.23% to Rs 160.25. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Private sector bank IndusInd Bank rose 3.26% to Rs 463.95. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
