Hong Kong market falls 0.8%

Hong Kong stock market ended below the neutral line on Friday, 30 October 2015, as sentiments weighed down amid worries about the implications of U.S. interest rate rise before the end of the year for the global economy and markets. The benchmark Hang Seng Index declined 179.90 points, or 0.8%, to 22640.04 points. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, benchmark measure of performance of mainland China enterprises, fell 42.80 points, or 0.41%, to 10396.58 points. Turnover reduced slightly to HK$69.32 billion from HK$70.7 billion on Thursday.
