The Hong Kong stock market finished higher on Monday, 30 April 2018, extending a rally at the end of last week, in line with broad gains across other Asian bourses, with technology firms and energy giants among the big winners.. The Hang Seng Index jumped 1.74 per cent, or 527.78 points, to close at 30,808.45. Turnover decreased to HK$93.6 billion from HK$97.5 billion on Friday. The local market will closed tomorrow for a public holiday.
