India's services export rises 10.4% in August 2019

Services trade surplus up 0.9% to US$ 6.24 billion in August 2019

As per the data released by the Reserve Bank of India, India's services exports increased 10.4% to US$ 18.24 billion in August 2019 over August 2018. Meanwhile, India's services imports jumped 16.0% to US$ 12.01 billion in August 2019.

India's services trade surplus rose 0.9% to US$ 6.24 billion in August 2019 from US$ 6.18 billion in August 2018.

India's services trade surplus rose 0.2% to US$ 32.13 billion in April-August 2019 over a year ago, with 9.4% rise in services exports to US$ 92.62 billion. India's services imports moved up 14.9% to US$ 60.49 billion in April-August 2019.
