Real Estate shares rise
Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 25.67 points or 1.35% at 1925.91 at 09:47 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 4.95%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 3.41%),DLF Ltd (up 2.61%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 2.29%),Sobha Ltd (up 1.64%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 1.53%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.78%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.29%).
On the other hand, Godrej Properties Ltd (down 0.11%), and Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.06%) moved lower.
At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 81.03 or 0.21% at 38208.11.
The Nifty 50 index was up 29.95 points or 0.26% at 11335.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 53.27 points or 0.42% at 12825.34.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 23.33 points or 0.54% at 4348.27.
On BSE,812 shares were trading in green, 537 were trading in red and 90 were unchanged.
