JSW Steel Ltd lost 1.18% today to trade at Rs 666.05. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 0.4% to quote at 20224.46. The index is down 1.9 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Tata Steel Ltd decreased 0.93% and Steel Authority of India Ltd lost 0.44% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 141.76 % over last one year compared to the 52.87% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
JSW Steel Ltd has lost 3.59% over last one month compared to 1.9% fall in S&P BSE Metal index and 1.77% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 36067 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 3.57 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 776.5 on 06 Aug 2021. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 258.8 on 25 Sep 2020.
