Phillips Carbon Black standalone net profit rises 930.77% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 20.97% to Rs 549.98 crore

Net profit of Phillips Carbon Black rose 930.77% to Rs 28.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2.73 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 20.97% to Rs 549.98 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 454.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 388.33% to Rs 72.81 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 14.91 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 1.73% to Rs 1926.95 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1894.09 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
