Nifty Metal index ended down 1.13% at 5061.8 today. The index has slipped 0.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, NMDC Ltd shed 3.56%, Steel Authority of India Ltd fell 2.48% and Adani Enterprises Ltd slipped 2.39%. The Nifty Metal index has soared 143.00% over last one year compared to the 49.81% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty IT index has dropped 0.93% and Nifty Infrastructure index has slid 0.75% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has declined 0.54% to close at 15686.95 while the SENSEX has dropped 0.54% to close at 52306.08 today.
